1. Information We Collect
Information you provide: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is stored securely via Brevo and used only to send you policy updates.
Automatically collected: When you visit our site, standard analytics data may be collected — including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent. This is collected via Google Analytics and/or Google AdSense in aggregated, anonymised form.
Calculator inputs: All data you enter into our calculators is processed entirely in your browser. This data is never transmitted to our servers and is not stored anywhere.
2. Nitivaad Pulse (Citizen Polls)
When you participate in Nitivaad Pulse polls, we collect:
- Vote data: Your selected option, poll ID, and timestamp.
- Device identifier: A browser-generated anonymous ID stored in localStorage to enforce one vote per device per poll.
- Bot verification: Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals to distinguish humans from automated traffic.
- Optional suggest-poll data: If you submit a poll topic suggestion, we store the name, city, topic, and optional email you provide.
We do not require Aadhaar, phone number, or account registration to vote. Pulse vote data is used only to display aggregated poll results. We do not sell individual vote records. See our Pulse Methodology for how results are calculated.
3. How We Use Your Information

4. Google AdSense & Cookies
NitiVaad uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. We do not control the data practices of Google AdSense.
5. Data Retention
Email addresses for newsletter subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe. Calculator inputs are never stored. Pulse vote records are retained to maintain poll integrity and display aggregated results; device identifiers are not linked to personal identity unless you voluntarily provide contact details via the suggest-poll form.

7. Children’s Privacy
NitiVaad is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
